SITRAK 4×2 Fuel Tractor: An Efficient & Practical Option for Trunk Logistics
Developed to tackle industry pain points in long-haul trunk logistics such as driver shortages and frequent accidents caused by fatigue driving, the SITRAK 4×2 fuel tractor is developed focusing on four dimensions: intelligence, safety, efficiency and comfort, helping make long-distance transport simpler, safer and more profitable.
The vehicle is equipped with SINOTRUK’s self-developed 3rd-generation high-level intelligent driving assistance system, forming a three-dimensional "human-vehicle-road" perception network. It has a total of 6 radars including 1 LiDAR and 5 millimeter-wave radars, together with 6 cameras. The system can sense the surrounding road environment in real time to realize automatic lane change and overtaking, intelligent ramp entry and exit, and automatic obstacle avoidance. Meanwhile, the vehicle’s AEB system cooperates with the blind spot monitoring system to achieve autonomous emergency braking and comprehensively improve active safety. The vehicle is fitted with SINOTRUK’s newly developed high-power MC14 engine designed for long-haul transport, delivering 630 horsepower and 2750 N·m of torque. It handles heavy loads, uphill sections and tight delivery schedules with ease. Paired with the vehicle’s intelligent control system, the engine achieves outstanding fuel economy, cutting fuel consumption by 5% compared with the previous generation and effectively reducing fuel costs. Furthermore, the cab of the SITRAK 4×2 fuel tractor is equally impressive, equipped with one-touch start, coffee maker, microwave, aviation-grade air suspension seat with ventilation and heating, parking air conditioner and more. It creates a driver-exclusive "mobile home" to relieve fatigue during long journeys.
